Wood Treads
Demax offers solid timber stair treads in a wide range of thicknesses and wood species. Tread thickness is selected according to the staircase structure, span, support conditions, design, and project requirements.
- Australia: Typical thickness options for Australian projects include 38 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 60 mm, 65 mm, 70 mm, and 90 mm.
- USA: Common thickness options for U.S. projects include 3.15″, 3.54″, and 4″.
- UK: Common thickness options for UK projects include 90mm, 100 mm, 110 mm, and 120 mm.
- Custom Thickness: Other thicknesses can be manufactured to suit different staircase designs and structural requirements.
- Timber Species: White Oak, Red Oak, Ash, Teak, Sapele, Beech, Rubberwood, Black Walnut, Merbau, and other timber species are available.
